Urgent Search Site General Manager

The primary function is to manage day to day warehouse activities across site, to provide up to date information and communicate to the highest level internally and externally whilst ensuring that all service levels are met and where possible exceeded. Manage and drive productivity and accuracy to maximize all resources whilst ensuring adherence to customer service levels and targets. Leading by example, actively promotes and fosters a culture where health & safety, hygiene, quality, and customer service are of the highest priority. Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of the department activities. Communication of Key metrics to principles. Analysis of operation and Staff. The completion of daily operational audits. Ensures all operational functions and process are completed in accordance with company policy and statutory legislation. Drive development & mobilisation of standardised training and skills improvement within Supply Chain. Conduct Daily shift meetings with staff, communicating shift expectations, company updates and any improvements required. Supervise, manage, and assist in daily Warehouse and Transport operations ensuring all staff are operating to the required standards and rates. Ensuring accuracy of consignments and supporting documentation across all client accounts. Maximise warehouse storage capacity. Recommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and team members and equipment performance. Key Performance Indicators Compliance with health & safety and the reduction in loss time accidents Control and management of absence within contractual levels People development incorporating the completion of reviews Budgetary responsibility with scope of functional accountability Warehouse labour and associated productivity targets Maximize warehouse utilization and associated operational space Maintain stock through the completion of inventory checks and audits Experience Required: Overall Knowledge of Supply Chain with associated Qualification. Excellent IT skills, SAP experience desirable. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Strong leadership and people skills Strong data Analysis. Ability to adhere to strict deadlines Degree/Qualification preferred. Who We Are We are the largest independent Irish provider of Logistics, and Sales and Marketing.
