Occupational Therapist Senior Permanent 35 hours per week (Raheny/ Blanchardstown) The Senior Occupational Therapist will work as part of the Occupational Therapy team at St. Francis Hospice Dublin working in close collaboration with other multi-disciplinary team members across the different services (In-Patient unit, Outpatients and Day service and in the Community) The person must... Be CORU registered Have a minimum of 3 years full time (or equivalent) recent post graduate experience, 1 of which must have been in a hospice setting/ acute hospital setting and/ or primary care Demonstrate a high level of competency in completing functional and seating assessments Demonstrate expertise in complex discharge planning and risk assessment Have excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills Experience in the areas of service development and quality improvement initiatives Experience providing professional supervision Evidence of continuing professional development, relevant to palliative care Full driving licence Desirable: Experience with teaching and research.
