Role Purpose Reporting directly to the HRIS, Reporting & Analytics Manager, the HRIS Systems and Analytics Specialist will act as a pivotal link between the HR function and all HR related systems. The role involves managing the maintenance of HRIS systems, implementing new tools and modules/enhancements, and handling support escalations. With a focus on optimising HRIS capabilities, ensuring compliance, and fostering collaboration with colleagues, the specialist contributes significantly to the organisation's efficiency and effectiveness in all HR activities. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract role. Key Responsibilities: The principal responsibilities associated with the role include, but are not limited to the following: Maintain the Oracle system and manage the implementation of new HCM tools and associated procedures to enhance HRIS capabilities Provide Tier 2 support and effectively manage escalations for related HRIS issues/request, ensuring prompt resolution through clear communication and support, as well as assisting with day-to-day tasks and activities to ensure seamless HR system operations Troubleshoot issues related to HRIS performance and functionality, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence. Develop and curate an exhaustive HR reporting catalogue and address ad-hoc reporting requests promptly, generating tailored reports for HR Operations, HR Business Partners, HR Centres of Excellence and other business units as needed Maintain the integrity of HRIS security by managing role permissions, the system organisational structure, and the reporting hierarchy, in alignment with data integrity and compliance standards Collaborate with the HRIS, Reporting & Analytics Manager to streamline HRIS and Reporting processes, identifying areas for improvements and enhancing efficiency Participate in ongoing technical training initiatives to remain up-to-date on HRIS tools and best practices, fostering continuous improvement Ensure the smooth rollout of new Oracle module releases over time, conducting thorough testing and facilitating seamless integration with existing HR systems Support the HRIS, Reporting & Analytics Manager with communicating relevant system changes Provide technical training support to users across different levels as required, promoting proficiency and usability of the HRIS system Ensure the correctness and completeness of An Post HR data across all HR systems, maintaining data accuracy and reliability Ensure rigorous adherence to legal and GDPR requirements Demonstrate An Post values and behaviours in your day to day work and address behaviour that supports/conflicts with them. Knowledge & Experience You will have experience in managing HRIS systems, including Oracle or similar platforms, and implementing new HCM tools to enhance HR capabilities. Your strong experience in adhering to SLAs and legal/data privacy standards will ensure high-quality service delivery. You will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining comprehensive HR reporting catalogues, tailoring reports for various stakeholders, and promptly addressing ad-hoc reporting requests. Your demonstrated expertise in ensuring data security and compliance within HRIS platforms will be a critical component of your role. A professional HR certification/membership or related business degree is required.
