Senior Speech and Language Therapist – Naas General Hospital

Senior SLT required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for a new opportunity based in Naas General Hospital. An experienced Staff grade candidate may be considered.

The Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) department in Naas General Hospital provides an evidence-based and high-quality service to adults across all acute services including Critical care, Stroke, Age-related care, Respiratory, General Medicine, and Surgery.

The successful candidate will work in the established SLT team and will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing difficulties of adults across the inpatient acute medical wards. There is consistent provision of Videofluoroscopy and FEES. There is a strong emphasis on supervision and mentorship in the department.

The Candidate:

1. A recognised qualification as a Speech and Language Therapist with CORU registration.
2. Dysphagia qualification.
3. Videofluoroscopy experience would be desirable; however, it is not essential.
4. A minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience, including work in an acute setting.
