Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary: Up to €45,000 depending on experience

A fantastic opportunity to join a customer-focused manufacturing company providing products for UK and international clients. As Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll help deliver premium products and bespoke solutions, working closely with departments across the business to uphold the highest standards of quality and service.

The Role

- Design products to meet detailed customer specifications
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications and factory floor instructions
- Coordinate prototype manufacturing and work with R&D to improve efficiencies
- Optimise designs in line with customer requirements and production capabilities
- Maintain, control and update technical documentation
- Liaise with production teams to ensure designs are manufactured to specification
- Occasionally travel to meet clients and support project delivery

The Person

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with design packages
- Experience in a similar position with a manufacturing environment
- Full driving licence
