Mechanical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product development department, you will play a crucial role in designing innovative solutions that meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing technical specifications, drawings, and details for customers;
  • Directing the prototype manufacture process;
  • Liaising with research and development teams to improve efficiency;
  • Optimising design to meet customer requirements;
  • Creating instructions and drawings for use on the factory floor;
  • Managing and updating technical specifications;
  • Collaborating with production teams to ensure design specifications are met.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering;
  • Experience working with CAD software such as CREO;
  • Prior experience in manufacturing environments or best practices is beneficial;
  • Familiarity with internal quality standards and metrics;
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
