The Strategic Account Director is responsible for leading and executing strategic sales development initiatives targeting expansion opportunities across the Nemetschek portfolio of products and offerings. This role focuses on developing account plans, team coordination, and cultivating long-term relationships with a portfolio of key clients.
About the Role:
Serving as the primary point of contact for key clients, proactively identifying sales opportunities.
Leading account planning activities, developing strategic sales approach, coordinating efforts across brands, and facilitating a collaborative team sales engagement.
Responsible for opening new doors, developing relationships, and generating business opportunities for all Nemetschek products for new and existing customers.
Building sales pipelines and progressing opportunities through standard sales cycles toward successful closure.
Ensuring customers are knowledgeable of product offerings and familiar with core capabilities through regular marketing campaign activities.
Leading collaboration with Nemetschek brands and internal departments for customer success.
Maximizing revenue growth and profitability for large strategic accounts.
Collaborating with product, marketing, finance, and sales operations teams across the Nemetschek Group.
This is a relationship-driven, senior sales role requiring a "hunter" mindset, with a strong focus on acquiring and growing large enterprise accounts and shaping opportunities.
The role also involves:
Leveraging CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics to track progress, forecast revenue, and enhance customer engagement strategies.
Knowledge of commonly used sales methodologies and processes is a requirement of success.
Expected travel up to 50% of the time.
About You:
10+ years in Software Sales with experience throughout the AEC industry with demonstrated experience and knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape.
Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, including stakeholder mapping and navigating procurement processes.
Robust set of professional relationships across all sectors in our domain at C-Level
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to develop tailored solutions.
Experience working with architectural, engineering, and construction firms.
Familiarity with portfolio of Nemetschek’s software solutions is a plus.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
