Background

Our client a successful Recruitment and Technology Group, is looking for a Company Accountant to join its team in Dublin. The group comprises recruitment, staffing, and technology divisions. It is headquartered in Dublinand also operates in the United Kingdom, with ambitions to scale globally via its technology arm.

Working as part of a great finance team of 6 people, a position for a Company Accountant is available. The role will report to the Financial Controller

The position will be based in Merrion Square in Dublin City centre with the opportunity to pursue a hybrid/ remote working model. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious accountant to work with a growing company while maintaining a good work/life balance.

The role –

The role will encompass the following responsibilities –
Preparing monthly management accounts (company and departmental)
Maintaining creditors ledgers (posting purchase invoices, posting payments, reconciling balances)
VAT returns – Bi-monthly and quarterly
Monthly cashflow analysis
Preparation of bank recs
Ad hoc projects – payroll, submission of CSO forms

About you –

The right person for this job will have the following skills, qualifications and experience –
Accounting Technician/ Part Qualified Accountant
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an accounts teams
Proven ability to produce accounts to a high level
Familiar with Irish revenue reporting (ROS)
Competent user of Quickbooks/ Collsoft or similar accounting packages
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels
