Overview Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager at the gibson hotel
Location: Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland
Responsibilities Oversee the organization and setup of meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings, and events.
Lead and train the team in line with company policies.
Schedule staff according to budget and business needs.
Implement high service standards and maximize sales opportunities.
Exhibit strong communication, leadership, and management skills.
Be creative in menu planning and presentation.
Proficient in computer use for email and reporting.
Requirements 2-3 years of management experience.
Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star property is desired but not essential.
Experience in training and managing teams for high-service delivery.
Ability to handle events of all sizes.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Must be available to work midweek, weekends, and evenings.
