Position: Vault Operative We are recruiting for a Vault Operative in our Dublin Branch This is an excellent opportunity to join an established team working as a key resource for an essential service, distributing cash through society in a secure and safe manner. Main Purpose of Job: Responsible for Security and Operations of the Vaults including Security and Traceability of Cash Containers Entering, within and leaving the vault departments. To work within the company procedural guidelines to ensure a high quality of service is consistently maintained, with optimum efficiency. Key Skills and Attributes Ability to follow laid down company procedures/instructions. Ability to work to deadlines. Numerate, Flexible and helpful. Focused on delivery of customer service. Effective communication skills at all levels. Basic IT competence. Able to work as part of a team player. Key Tasks Operate in receipt and dispatch function dealing with internal and/or external customers, including responsibility for ensuring accurate and secure loading/unloading of CIT, ATM and Trunker vehicles. Control exit and entry of vehicles to loading bay(s) and branch where applicable. Liaise with other departments, branches, customers and suppliers, as appropriate, to resolve issues and maintain service. Follow company procedures to ensure the security of cash, valuables, staff and premises is maintained at all times. Responsible for opening and closing of the vaults both routinely and in an emergency using appropriate security measures. Use appropriate systems, equipment and procedures. Prepare consignments of customer funds for dispatch to vehicles. Issue, receive and maintain security of all keys held within the secure area. Carry out any other duties that are deemed reasonable Previous experience in a customer service environment. The ability to work under pressure and to dead-lines. Strong communication skills with the ability to carry out tasks as assigned. Good knowledge of surrounding areas. C Licence advantage A Private Security Licence would be an advantage.
