We now have a new opening for Production Training Specialist at our Limerick site.

What will the role look like for the successful candidate?

- As the production training specialist, you will help design, develop, and coordinate best in class equipment maintenance training programmes ensuring training methods are up to date and in compliance with company, legislative and industry trends to improve skill development and engagement.
- Create comprehensive training plans customized by level and role of our equipment maintenance organization.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to support learning objectives, and compliance needs, leveraging the use of the learning management systems for various learning initiatives.
- Develop the functional onboarding plan for new team members, guiding them through the training process, company policies and procedures, acting as a peer advisor and supporting them as they acclimate to the organization.
- Implement a training needs analysis to identify gaps in employee skills, knowledge, and abilities; recommend training and development objectives.
- Identify points of continuous improvement and develop solutions that update and improve the effectiveness of training and Shingo/lean programmes.
- Develop and manage regular and ad-hoc reports on training effectiveness, compliance, evaluation, and engagement metrics.
- Budget training costs and present reports to management.
- Inform employees on scheduled training and track their progress.
- Coordinate and participate in the talent attraction process including college recruitment, apprenticeship, and intern programs.
