We are looking to engage a proven Senior Risk and Compliance Officer to join the Compliance team where you will have the opportunity to influence the development and implementation of the Risk and Compliance Framework. The successful candidate will work closely with members of senior management in this role and will report to the Head of Risk and Compliance. Hybrid working arrangements apply to this role (4-6 days p.m). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Contribute to the development and implementation of the Compliance Framework and Compliance Plan Conducting compliance monitoring reviews Provide advice on appropriateness and effectiveness of controls and the application of rules, regulations and the companys compliance policies and procedures Review of products, documents and marketing communications for compliance with relevant regulatory requirements Participate on new business initiatives, ensuring that relevant compliance considerations and resulting risks, are duly assessed. Assist with the implementation, review and amendment of compliance policies/ procedures Support the implementation and maintenance of the risk management framework. Support senior management in identifying, monitoring, managing and reporting risks. Provide day to day advice, support and challenge to all functions on risk and compliance matters. Produce reports for the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee as required. KEY CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 5 years experience in a Compliance function, preferably in insurance.
