Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Galway based client. As an integral member of the Sales team you will be responsible for Sales, Business Development and Project Management, working with some of Irelands Largest Medical Device Manufacturers. Our client provides Capital Equipment and exceptional after sales support to the Medical Device manufacturing sector, offering the most advanced Automated and Integrated solutions. This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Galway. As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for selling best in class Capital Equipment in the Medical Devices Manufacturing Industry across Ireland. ROLE: Convert sales opportunities and promote company products and services Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining company products and services to customers and prospective customers Discuss technical aspects of the product and service to all stakeholders Manage the complete sales process from initial inquiry to final acceptance and after sales service Work with the company suppliers in the requisition of equipment and parts for customers Liaise with existing customers across multiple departments in client organisations including but not limited to engineering, operations and purchasing. Identify and liaise with key personnel involved in the selection and purchase of capital equipment. Develop relationships with existing customers thereby increasing revenues and profitability for the company Provide input to support company business planning and strategy Ensure feedback from customers becomes an opportunity for improvement Maintain the excellent relationship and service with customers and suppliers REQUIREMENTS: A solid technical background, ideally a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical) Experience in the Medical Device Manufacturing industry and knowledge of Electro/Mechanical Equipment would be an advantage.
