We are looking for Psychologists with ADOS experience to undertake assessments in Cork, this will be a largely remote role with just ADOS assessments being done in Cork over a few days a month. Adim work is made minimal using tools allowing our clinicians to be as present as possible 1300 euro pr assessment Job description Clinical/Educational Psychologist Location: Cork (with strong potential for hybrid work) Reporting To: Clinical Director & Principal Clinical Psychologist Start Date: As soon as available Salary: Highly Competitive & will exceed HSE payscale equivalent Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Department: Clinical Governance Implementation, Staff Supervision & Direct Clinical Assessment Involvement We are currently seeking a highly qualified Clinical/Educational Psychologist to complement our existing team at our Rathfarnham Clinic. This role is open to negotiation regarding hybrid working conditions at our Rathfarnham, Dublin based clinic depending on the level of experience of the candidate. **Please only apply if you have recognised clinical or educational qualifications and this can be validated** Essential criteria Applicants must possess a recognised professional post-graduate qualification in clinical or educational psychology; clinical graduates in the process of completing their post-graduate qualification in clinical or educational Psychology are welcome to apply. If qualified outside the Republic of Ireland, applicants must have their qualification validated by the Department of Health. A validation letter needs to be included with this application. All candidates must meet the registration requirements of the Psychological Society of Ireland. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience. Good organisational, problem solving, decision making and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team. A kind and caring manner. The successful candidate will be expected to perform a range of duties as outlined below: To provide comprehensive Autism assessments in line with best practice guidelines. Participate as both a lead and observer in ADOS-2 assessments To take the lead in managing assessments and coordinate with other team members including Assistant Psychologists and OTs & SLTs where necessary in the completion of assessments. To provide detailed reports post assessment. To provide on-going support to clients and their families. To manage their caseload in an efficient manner. You will be required to: Be responsible for the delivery of professional autism services in line with best practice. Work within limits of professional competence in line with principles of best practice, professional conduct and clinical governance. Communicate effectively and work in co-operation with team members and others to ensure integrated service provision. Work in and promote an ethical and professional manner at all times. Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for assessments & liaise with the principal psychologist or clinical director where appropriate Take ownership of managing your clinical caseload and ensuring smooth client progression from pre-assessment through to final report. Your contribution will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality assessments and delivering comprehensive and high quality reports. You will leverage your professional experience to maintain and enhance clinical governance within the clinic, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, and ensuring that the clinic operates to the highest standards of care. You will liaise and build meaningful relationships with clients and families to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout the assessment process You will also collaborate with other team members within to inform them of potential improvements in clinical processes and governance that could benefit the overall clinic operation. Supervision provided by Clinical Director & Principal Psychologist will provide strong opportunities to suggest ideas for improvements in the methods of delivery of clinical services and offer an environment where thinking outside the box and working on areas in your respective field that you are passionate about is encouraged Skills: Psychology Benefits: Work From Home
