This is a night shift position from 10.30pm to 6.30am and also includes weekends. We are a quiet hotel with no late night large functions. Key Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the property between the hours of 10.30pm and 6.30am Ensuring all tasks and duties are completed to the highest standard. Dealing with all aspects of the hotel, including guests, security, reception duties, cleaning, conference set up, food and beverage service, running nightly reports, dealing with Health and Safety, First Aid etc. Efficiently greet and check guests in with a warm and friendly manner Deal with guest queries and complaints Take reservations correctly, noting any special requests Provide late night drinks and food service Ensure the front of house areas are clean and well maintained Carry out night security checks and be responsible for security issues Handle floats and safe deposits, maintaining high levels of security Who we are looking for A candidate with: Previous experience in a similar role A knowledge of Guestline Office System or similar is preferred Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work equally well in a team environment and on their own initiative About the Sandymount Hotel The Sandymount Hotel is a 4-star, award-winning hotel based in the residential suburb of Sandymount, Dublin 4.
