The Role Cubic³ is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with Automotive OEM customers and prospective clients. As a Sales Engineer, you will drive the technical aspects of our sales engagement, ensuring high customer satisfaction and contributing to business growth.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, partners, and other key stakeholders.
Collaborate with the sales team and channel partners to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to win deals. Bridge between sales and core business units to understand customer requirements, demonstrate capabilities, and address solution concerns.
Own RFQ/RFI management and proactive sales engagement outside RFQ/RFI cycles. Maintain a high-quality, up-to-date RFI/Q/P response and solution positioning repository with solution sheets and supporting documentation.
Provide technical expertise during the sales process, including product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and solution design. Gather and analyse customer requirements and engage in discovery conversations to understand pain points, business challenges, and technical needs. Address technical questions and objections with viable solutions.
Work with product management, engineering, wholesale, and network teams to ensure solutions meet market needs.
Feed into solution architects to design technical solutions addressing customer and prospect needs.
Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proofs-of-concept, ensuring demos and supporting sales material are current.
Provide feedback from customer interactions to inform product roadmaps and feature enhancements. Advocate for investments that keep Cubic³ at the cutting edge.
Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape to help drive innovation and influence Product Development and the broader community.
Represent Cubic³ at industry events and contribute to whitepapers and market positioning content as part of our thought leadership.
Requirements Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a sales engineering role in Telecommunications, Automotive, or IoT.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Deep understanding of the Automotive market with a focus on connectivity.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is desirable but not required.
New hires are expected to work onsite five days per week during a six-month probation period to acclimate to the company, team, and ways of working. After probation, a flexible arrangement of up to eight work-from-home days per month may be possible, subject to business needs and performance.
