My client is a Developer and they are currently seeking a proactive and organised Accounts & Compliance Assistant to join the team. This is a dual-purpose role, with responsibilities split between supplier compliance management and supporting the accounts team with invoice entry and processing. The successful candidate will also gain exposure to monitoring and improving internal systems of control across the group, offering a well-rounded experience in a dynamic industry environment. Responsibilities: Manage the accounts payable function, including liaising with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of invoices and resolution of any discrepancies. Enter, code, and process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently in line with company procedures. Assist with payment runs. Support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of internal controls related to purchasing and payment processes. Assist with the Accounts Receivable function, including issuing customer invoices, following up on outstanding payments, and reconciling customer accounts. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for both payables and receivables. Support the improvement and ongoing monitoring of internal controls related to purchasing, payments, and credit control. Contribute to general finance and administrative tasks as required, including assisting with month-end processes and audit preparation. Skills/Qualifications: Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or Accounting Technician (IATI) - either working in practice and looking to diversify your experience or working in a similar role in an Industry setting. Construction sector experience desirable but not essential. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. A team player with strong communication skills. Ability to commute to the office in Carrickmacross. Apply now.
