The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function, ensuring timely receipt of invoices and resolution of any discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable function, liaise with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of invoices and resolution of any discrepancies.
- Enter, code and process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently in line with financial procedures.
- Assist with payment runs, support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of internal controls related to purchasing and payment processes.
- Support the improvement and ongoing monitoring of internal controls related to purchasing, payments and credit control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue customer invoices, follow up on outstanding payments and reconcile customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for both payables and receivables.
Additional Duties:
- Contribute to general finance and administrative tasks as required, including assisting with month-end processes and audit preparation.
