Now Hiring: French-Speaking AR Specialist (Hybrid) – North County Dublin A leading retail company based in North County Dublin is seeking a career-driven and enthusiastic Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist fluent in French and English to join their Shared Services team. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of 2 days working from home per week.
Schedule
Monday to Friday with an early start and early finish
Key Responsibilities
Manage collections across Multiples and Independent customer accounts
Complete weekly debtor reconciliations using Excel
Post and allocate daily cash and cheque payments
Resolve customer queries, issue copy invoices/statements, and follow up on credit requests
Import sales batches from warehouse systems to the finance platform
Manage weekly and monthly direct debit processes
Perform monthly close-off procedures and statement runs
Provide updates on bad debt provisions and escalate problem accounts as necessary
Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure prompt payment on outstanding accounts
Report overdue accounts to the Credit Insurance Company
Cross-train with AR team members to support full ledger knowledge and holiday cover
Provide reception cover on a rota basis and support with other ad hoc duties as needed
Key Skills And Experience
French and English fluency (written and spoken)
Relevant experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control
Proficient in Excel and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and telephone skills
Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain attention to detail
Customer-focused with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
