Job Description

CubeMatch is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support UK Faster Payments initiatives. This role will involve working within a fast-paced payments environment to define and deliver critical business and technology solutions. The successful candidates will collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and ensure seamless integration of UK Faster Payments solutions in alignment with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Act as a key liaison between business and technology teams to support UK Faster Payments initiatives.
2. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
3. Define and document end-to-end payment processing workflows, highlighting key dependencies and risks.
4. Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and testing teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
5. Identify and address gaps in existing payment systems, recommending process improvements.
6. Support functional and user acceptance testing, ensuring payment solutions meet business and compliance requirements.
7. Work closely with external partners, regulatory bodies, and payment service providers to ensure compliance with UK Faster Payments regulations.
8. Provide subject matter expertise on UK Faster Payments, including real-time processing, scheme rules, and settlement mechanisms.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes

1. Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within the payments industry, specifically in UK Faster Payments.
2. Strong understanding of UK Faster Payments scheme rules, regulatory requirements, and operational processes.
3. Experience in documenting functional and non-functional requirements for payment solutions.
4. Knowledge of payment messaging formats, including ISO20022 and related industry standards.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with both technical and non-technical teams.
7. Ability to work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality payment solutions.
8. Familiarity with payment systems, settlement processes, and real-time payment infrastructure.
