Aviation Client Manager

What the day will look like

Main responsibilities as Aviation Client Manager will include:

1. Deliver excellence in client relationships, retention and growth of existing accounts
2. Handle and grow a portfolio of aviation client accounts within a broking environment
3. Control and manage CRM growth systems within the team
4. Management of clients' renewals, queries and mid-term adjustments from start to finish
5. Providing technical advice and assistance as required to colleagues across a range of aviation insurance products
6. Compliance with regulatory requirements and business procedures and identify opportunities for process improvement
7. New business growth and development.

How this opportunity is different

The primary role of a Client Manager in our Aviation division is handling and growing a portfolio of clients, identifying client's risk needs and utilising the best of Aon's wider offering for our clients.

Joining Aon as Client Manager will provide an opportunity for you to work in the only dedicated aviation insurance team in Ireland. This opportunity would suit someone who is autonomous and eager to manage clients from cradle to grave, and is eager to learn about the ever-changing risks facing the aviation industry.

The aviation team consists of highly experienced, enthusiastic team players where one can grow and learn whilst working in a complex global matrix environment with a mix of functional, business and geographic leaders. The Global Aviation team amounts to over 120 advisors worldwide.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

The ideal Aviation Client Manager will have:

1. A number of years of relevant Insurance broking experience, including an understanding of aviation risks
2. Progress towards the Chartered Insurance Institute examinations (ACII), with a minimum achievement of CIP
3. A proven record in delivering results, product innovation, negotiating renewal deals, securing new clients, and jeopardy account management
4. An understanding of the aviation ecosystem in Ireland and risks facing the industry
5. Ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurers and colleagues
6. Strong organisational and administrative skills with an ability to work on own initiative and prioritise deadlines and workloads
7. Shows a commitment to understanding client requirements and meticulous attention to detail.
