Description Exciting opportunity for professionals and graduates looking to gain experience in the funds industry as an Oversight Associate. You will be involved in the oversight of a number of client funds to ensure they are managed in line with all legal, regulatory, and fiduciary requirements. You will also generate regular and exception-based reports for each Fund Board to assist Directors in fulfilling their governance obligations at Carne Group.
Minimum Requirements A recognised professional or third-level qualification relevant to the role.
Genuine interest in the funds industry.
Who are we looking for? Carne is recruiting Oversight Associates in its Wexford or Kilkenny offices. Ideal candidates will be ambitious professionals seeking to build their careers in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.
Role and Responsibilities Maintain responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of Carne client funds, ensuring timely receipt and recording of fund reports and initiating appropriate actions.
Support the preparation and delivery of reports to relevant parties and fund regulators within deadlines.
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients and fund delegates to ensure clear communication.
Work closely with Relationship Managers to produce quarterly reports for Fund Boards.
Adapt to new tasks and processes, ensuring they meet standards.
Support team development and training when required.
Provide feedback to the IT Development Team to enhance Carne’s technology platform for regulatory reporting.
Required Competencies Good numeric, analytical, and report writing skills with strong attention to detail.
