- The Role: Global Account Manager (GAM)
You will be joining a dynamic and successful team of highly motivated sales and applications people in the EMEA Automotive Sales team. You will have responsibility to drive the strategic account and global responsibility for all business divisions. The objective is to grow profitable and sustainable business through identification of new projects and building trust and high mindshare at the account. You need to be a good listener able to digest and understand your Account’s complex challenges and be able to distil them for your colleagues inside ADI. You need to have excellent communication skills, be self-aware, think fast and be highly responsive. You are accountable for the successful growth of this account and need to utilize the full extent of the ADI marketing, system applications teams and develop a good understanding of the ADI portfolio of solutions and capability. This is a very exciting time in this market where autonomous driving and electrification are undergoing a revolution and you have the opportunity to drive change resulting in high business growth. You need to be a team player that collaborates well and is flexible to adapt to dynamic situations.

Key Responsibilities of the GAM:

- This role reports into the Sales Director who owns the overall Tier1 Strategy for EMEA so it is important there is clear alignment on the business and growth objectives.
- To build and maintain trustful relationships with relevant groups/teams at the Account where you are responsible.
- Drive and be the respected interface between all relevant levels (Incl. Execs) at Account as well of the ADI organisation.
- Understand new market developments and customer engagements to influence/drive ADI’s product (design) development.
- Responsible for driving the WW account engagement in all territories and aligning activities such that goals are achieved.
- Responsible for the achievement of the agreed yearly business targets (revenue).
- Responsible for the achievement of the agreed yearly design-win and design-in awards (confirmed by customer).
- Responsible for the annual price negotiation and providing the right background to win projects also on commercial aspects.
- Responsible for regular reporting in accordance with internal procedures and guidelines and updating the opportunity tracking tools.
- Responsible for overseeing all relevant Quality and Logistics with the different eco-system partners.
- Needs to be persistent and not take no for an answer when it comes to delivering a solution or winning an opportunity.

Requirements for the GAM position:

- Bachelor/Master degree in EE preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive electronics preferred but not essential.
- Good listening, negotiation and presentation skills as well as excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Enjoy working as part of a team and enjoys social interaction.
- Must be willing to travel in EMEA and globally (
- Curiosity, creativity and a passion for technology.
- Languages: French and English preferred.
- Location: Greater Paris.
