This role will include month end financial close (including journal postings) and completing finance reconciliations and analysis.The role is a key part of the SSC Financial Reporting team which will also help with providing resilience within the wider daa finance team and working on ad hoc finance projects as required.
Management and financial accounting analysis and control in support of the daa international finance function.
Co-ordination of month end financial close with various SSC and daa finance stakeholders including review of financial postings.
Ensure accuracy of monthly accounts for daa’s business units together with analysis against budget/latest expected.
Preparation, analysis and posting of journals at month end and support of business unit’s budgets and latest expected forecasts.
Preparation and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations at month end with proactive follow up of reconciling items.
Preparation of month end journals in Oracle EBS to ensure accurate and timely month end close position for Group Finance review.
Calculation, posting and analysis of monthly accruals and prepayments, ensuring that all items are accurately captured and accounted for.
Support Quality Management system including active participation in team meetings and updating Standard Operating procedures in line with ISO and daa reporting requirements.
