The Board of Management of Droichead Family Resource Centre CLG, West Street, Callan, Co Kilkenny Invite applications for the following posts:
School Age Childcare Practitioners (2 posts) Fixed Term 38-week contract (20 hrs per week)
> QQI Level – 5 Early Childhood Care & Education qualification or equivalent
* 1/2 years experience working in a similar role
> Highly motivated, energetic with the ability to work as part of a team as well as on
own initiative
* Full Drivers License
Desirable: the candidate will have the:
* Ability to supervise and assist children in programme activities
* Ability to ensure that all children attending the facility receive optimal care at all
times, with a focus on a safe and secure environment, delivered through a structured
and well-balanced programme of activities.
* The successful applicant will have the ability to actively engage daily with the
children, management, staff team, parents/guardians to ensure that the Afterschools
Facility strives for excellence in the delivery of the service.
* ability to take direction & constructive feedback from management during the day-to-
day activities of the service.
Salary Scale in Line with Border Counties Pay scale
