EHR Service Specialist - Laboratory An opportunity has arisen in ourElectronic Health Records (EHR) department as a EHR Service Specialist - Laboratory This is a 1 year contract starting January 2026. An EHR Laboratory Specialist focuses on managing and optimizing laboratory workflows within an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. They ensure accurate ordering, processing, and documentation of lab tests and results. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, clinical knowledge, and workflow management skills. This role covers the below competencies: Technical Competencies Clinical Knowledge Workflow Optimization & Process Improvement Date Management and reporting Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge Trainer & User Support Quality Improvement Initiatives Security & Data Privacy Skills & Qualifications: Interpersonal skills Strong level of energy and drive to impact and deliver A strong team player, able to grow and inspire his/her team and beyond A collaborator of the highest level, able to bring people together to progress tactical and strategic initiatives Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong alignment with our organizational mission and values Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation Ability to work collaboratively, exercising good judgment, decision-making, and problem solving skills Ability to see the big picture and become a respected member of the EHR Service specialist team Business Partner Highly analytical with strong attention to details, combined with strategic thinking and commercial judgment High level of proactivity and anticipation, forward looking approach, sense of urgency Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities Ability to be self-directed, take ownership, and see projects to completion in a timely manner Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to periodically participate in meetings and events outside of core business hours Education & Experience Minimum Level 6 NVQ in Medical Science, Biochemistry or related Science Minimum 2 years experience in a clinical laboratory Experience in EHR, LIMS or Laboratory IT desirable, however full training will be provided.
