What's the role?

This is a broad-ranging finance role that provides exposure to Irish and US accounting standards. The ideal candidate will enjoy taking processes from start to finish. The role involves interaction with high-level management who make quick, local decisions.

We'll trust you to:

- Deliver Monthly Management Information and critically review it before presenting to the Senior Management Team, ensuring deadlines for monthly and annual reporting and compliance are met.
- Prepare Annual Statutory Financial Statements (both individual and consolidated) and handle auditor queries for all companies within the Bloomberg Data Management Services Group, with experience in FRS102 and US GAAP.
- Manage Irish company tax and legal compliance, including VAT, PAYE, Intrastat returns, Corporation tax payments, and returns. Knowledge of UK, US, and Singapore tax and legal frameworks is advantageous but not required.
- Oversee standard finance processes such as procurement, invoicing, supplier payments, billing, and payroll, and implement efficiencies to meet business needs.
- Be responsible for sales projections and revenue forecasting, working with company systems to improve reporting and insights.
- Communicate effectively with team members across all departments and levels.
- Participate actively in senior management meetings, providing accurate and clear financial information to support decision-making.
- Prepare and deliver the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Contribute to operational ad-hoc projects as needed.

You'll need to have:

- Membership of a recognized accounting body (ACA/FCA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Over 5 years of experience in an industry-based accounting role, preferably within the software industry.
- Proven skills in management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to make sound, commercially aware decisions.
- A good work ethic with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with strong presentation skills.
- Experience with accounting software; familiarity with SAP and AO SAP reporting is a plus.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
