About the job

The Trust and Safety team identifies and tackles major issues affecting the safety and integrity of Google's products. They leverage technical skills, problem-solving, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and partners from abuse across Google services like Ads, Search, Maps, and Gmail.

This team comprises thinkers and team players passionate about doing what's right, working globally with engineers and product managers to combat abuse and fraud at scale. Their work promotes trust in Google and ensures user safety.

Our focus areas include policy enforcement, managing risks associated with Generative AI in advertising, and legal and regulatory enforcement. The Ads and Shopping Platforms Enforcement team addresses these challenges, balancing abuse prevention with a positive advertising experience.

Google strives to earn user trust daily. The Trust & Safety team fights abuse and enhances user trust through collaboration across Google to combat malware, spam, account hijacking, and more, in over 40 languages.

Responsibilities

- Identify and investigate trends to develop enforcement strategies against content abuse, policy violations, and product misuse.
- Establish customer experience practices supporting compliant advertising and positive user interactions.
- Develop innovative enforcement processes using Gen AI techniques.
- Contribute to enforcement strategies for Google Ads policies under global regulation, engaging stakeholders on legal and regulatory risks.
- Provide on-call support and respond to escalations within service levels.
