TouchPlus Technologies Ltd—a proud member of the Navi Group—is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Software QA Engineer to elevate our quality assurance function and help shape the future of pharmacy retail technology across Ireland.

The Opportunity

As our new QA Lead Engineer, you’ll:

- Lead and mentor a team of 4 near-shore QA engineers (manual and automation)

- Build and scale robust QA processes, embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle

- Champion shift-left testing — collaborating with developers and business analysts to ensure features are designed for completeness, testability, and maintainability

- Drive automation-first practices - integrating end-to-end, acceptance, and regression testing into our CI/CD pipelines

- Balance strategy and hands-on work - owning process improvement while contributing technically

What You’ll Bring

- 5+ years in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead or management role

- Strong experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies

- Hands-on with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, PyTest) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

- Experience testing APIs, microservices, and UI components in distributed systems

- Deep understanding of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and QA’s role within it

- Proven ability to establish QA standards, metrics, and governance

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

What You’ll Do

- Define and evolve QA strategy, standards, and processes

- Act as a quality advocate across engineering, product, and delivery teams

- Expand and maintain automated test coverage at all levels

- Embed automated tests into CI/CD as release gates

- Audit and formalise regression suites and maintain test documentation

- Define, track, and report on QA KPIs (defect escape rates, automation coverage, bug backlog health, SLA compliance)

- Collaborate with Project Managers, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement
