Senior Quantity Surveyor - Tier 1 Building Contractor Co. Cork € (DoE) Talent Curve Recruitment are currently on the lookout for Senior Quantity Surveyors to join a Tier 1 building contractor in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of Irelands leading contractors on high-profile projects, offering long-term career progression and development. The Role As a Senior QS, youll be a key member of the commercial team, responsible for managing costs, contracts, and ensuring the financial success of large-scale construction projects. Youll oversee all aspects of quantity surveying from pre-construction through to final accounts, working closely with project managers and site teams. Key Responsibilities: Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of assigned projects Preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers Prepare and review tender documentation and contract variations Monitor project costs against budgets and report regularly on progress Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures Provide support and mentorship to junior members of the QS team Requirements: Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics 6+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a main contractor Proven track record working on large-scale building projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use) Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts and procurement processes Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment Whats on Offer: Opportunity to work with a Tier 1 contractor on landmark projects in Cork Competitive salary package and benefits Long-term career growth and progression opportunities Supportive, team-focused working environment For more information please feel free to contact Aaron Fitzgeraldat Talent-Curve Recruitment Skills: Quantity Surveying Residential Commercial Construction
