Join our fabulous team at The Fleet Hotel as a Public Area Assistant. The Public Area Assistant is an important part-time role that works closely with the team.
Location: Windward Management Limited, 19/20 Fleet Street
The Fleet Hotel is a wonderful boutique style Hotel located in the centre of Dublin on the edge of Temple Bar. It comprises of some beautiful period buildings including the iconic Bewleys Café, much loved by Dubliner’s for decades.
Primary Objective Of Position The Public Area Assistant is responsible for ensuring that public spaces within a facility are clean, safe, and presentable for staff and residents.
Responsibilities Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and corridors.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
Empty trash bins and replace liners.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and doors.
Maintenance : Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department. Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
Safety And Security : Maintain a safe and hazard-free environment by promptly addressing spills and other potential dangers. Monitor public areas for any security concerns or suspicious activities and report them to security or management.
Customer Service : Provide assistance and information to guests when needed. Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints related to cleanliness.
Teamwork : Collaborate with other cleaning staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of all public areas.
Requirements The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role in a 4* hotel setting
