An opportunity has arisen for someone who is analytical, curious and interested in the energy industry to join the business as an All-Island Energy Regulation Analyst, based in Dublin. This role is responsible for supporting the All-Island Regulation function for my client an Energy Asset company - Dublin. This person will help analyse and deliver policy and regulatory developments to achieve optimum market conditions in partnership with, Commercial, Business Development, Regulatory and construction colleagues. They will monitor and, where applicable, seek specialist advice to ensure knowledge of the commercial, political, environmental, regulatory, and socio-economic landscape is current and relevant. This includes identifying risks and opportunities and supporting the development of regulation in both Ireland and Northern Ireland. They will support regulation specialists, business leaders, operational managers and business developers as required by providing detailed analysis of the impact of regulation from a commercial and legal standpoint changes on and where applicable assist them to identify the most suitable and effective regulatory strategy. Background Demonstrated work experience acquired following post-graduate studies. Previous work experience and sound business knowledge of the electricity supply sector, both technically and commercially. Understanding of the Single Electricity Market (SEM) - desirable. Behaviours A self-motivated, adaptable and fast-thinking individual who thrives in a dynamic work environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and influence high-level relationships both internally and externally. Excellent presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written). Ability to approach and solve problems and challenges in an innovative and creative manner. Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions from data. Willingness to take a flexible approach to work and be prepared to respond to the changing needs of the organisation. Qualifications Relevant Degree in a business, science, maths, legal or engineering related discipline - essential Salary negotiable with attractive package on offer.
