We are currently recruiting a Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team at The Mercantile Hotel, located in the heart of Dublin City. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. . Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, or work areas to ensure cleaning standards are maintained. Train, coach, and support housekeeping staff in cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols. Prepare daily work schedules and assign duties to team members. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linen; place orders when needed. Address and resolve guest or client complaints regarding housekeeping services. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. Assist with hands-on cleaning duties as needed, especially during high-demand periods. Maintain records related to employee performance, schedules, supply usage, and inspections. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role. Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safety protocols. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple priorities. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
