Bid Manager We are currently recruiting for a Bid Manager to lead the preparation of competitive, high quality bid submissions for mechanical engineering projects. This role will be based in Dublin and involves coordinating with cross functional teams to compile accurate technical and commercial proposals that align with client requirements and strict deadlines. Responsibilities: Coordinate end to end preparation and submission of bids for mechanical engineering projects, including HVAC, piping and mechanical installations Review and analyse tender documents (specifications, drawings, BOQs) to identify requirements and deadlines Collaborate with engineers, estimators and internal teams to gather technical inputs and pricing details Manage bid timelines, schedules and deliverables to ensure timely and compliant submissions Compile, format and produce bid documents, including technical proposals, method statements and capability statements Maintain and update a library of standard responses, case studies and project references Support post-submission clarifications, presentations and follow-ups Track bid outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned Requirements: Previous experience in a bid or proposal coordination role within the construction or mechanical engineering sector This Bid Manager will need a basic understanding of mechanical systems and terminology Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines Excellent written English and high attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel; experience with Adobe Acrobat Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings is an advantage Experience with tender portals and procurement platforms (e.g., Procore) Familiarity with public and private sector bidding processes Benefits: Salary €65,000 - €75,000 DOE Pension Scheme Company Laptop/Mobile CPD support Full Benefits package on application If you are a Bid Manager who is looking for your next career move, send your CV to Kate OHerlihy or call for a confidential discussion.
