Overview Coopman Search and Selection are delighted to be partnering with an international leading insurance company who are seeking a Head of Finance to join their Dublin team.
Responsibilities Overseeing the preparation and communication of quarterly and annual financial statements (IFRS).
Overseeing quarterly and annual returns to the Central Bank of Ireland (QRTs).
Overseeing financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships.
Supervising finance staff.
Developing financial business plans and forecasts.
Participating in corporate policies development as a member of the senior management team.
Qualifications Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.) or relevant Financial Management/Accounting qualification (Level 9 National Framework of Qualifications).
Experience operating at a relevant level of seniority to the role.
A sound working knowledge of general accounting principles, financial/insurance products and systems.
Ability to perform under pressure and manage tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality.
