We are inviting applications for a Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant to join Musgrave Wholesale Partners Finance team. Hybrid working will apply. The role is a key business partnering role providing analysis and insight for the sales directors, business development managers along with commercial & strategic support to the wider business. The role will play a significant part in budgeting, planning & forecasting of the business. The role will be both structured & varied delivering to the changing business needs. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Provides relevant & insightful information & analysis to key stakeholders around all KPIs. Assisting the performance of the business through detailed analysis & provision of insightful information on BAU and other strategic initiatives. Actively contributes to the insight & clarity provided by the finance team around recent business performance from both a sales & margin perspective. Co-ordinate the development of strategic plans, budgets and forecasts for assigned business areas that are aligned with the achievement of the business strategy. Deliver supporting analysis for forecasts and budgets for assigned areas throughout the year. Work closely with our Daybreak sales development team to support the agenda of driving profitability in each & every store. Works with the wider Finance team to ensure alignment on the Finance objectives, budgets & targets. Builds and maintain cross functional relationships with other Support functions providing support on new and improved ways to drive improvement & profit for the MWP business. The successful candidate will have all or most of the following: Qualified Chartered Accountant, CIMA or relevant Corporate Finance qualification Minimum 2-3 years experience in a financial / commercial role Financial analysis and interpretation experience, supported by strong excel skills Commercial experience in Musgrave or external business environment Strong attention to detail and likes to work cross functionally Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines A self-motivated approach to work - can do attitude Good organisational and time management skills.
