BI Developer Analytics Bus ireann is currently recruiting a dynamic and experienced BI Developer to join our Analytics Team in Dublin. The BI Developer plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive analytical and cross-functional support across all Bus ireann functions. Reporting to the Senior Manager Analytics, this position is integral to collaborating closely with IT, Operations, HR, Schools and the Commercial team to enhance business insights through data analysis and reporting. TheBIDeveloperisresponsiblefordriving theautomation ofreporting processes inpartnership with IT, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering actionable solutions that supports strategic decision-making across the organisation. As a key member of the Analytics Team, the role demands a combination of technical expertise, collaborative problem solving and the ability to answer complex business questions through data, demonstrating proficiency in building paginated and interactive reports, dashboards, and data models using Power BI. Theidealcandidateisorganised,analytical,andthrivesinfast-pacedteamenvironments.They use expert knowledge and technology to analyse complex data and deliver clear insights. Effectivecommunicationandcollaborationskillsareessentialforsecuringsupportacrossall levels of the organisation. Keyresponsibilities: Management Information (MI): Preparation and review of Business-as-Usual internal MI reports to drive a better understanding of the business across topics including revenue, passenger numbers, HR metrics, Customer, etc. Combine data from multiple sources, identify data gaps and feed into the change management and testing process for new MI reports. Maintain satisfactory documentation, data quality controls and data integrity. Strengthen capability: Effectively plan and collaborate within team and cross- functionally on data driven projects to improve internal tools, systems, and data pipelines. Partner with Technology and Finance teams to identify and drive scalable solutions for building and automating reports, pipelines, dashboards, and infrastructure to monitor key performance metrics, workforce strategy, and product growth. Bring industry best practice analytics and insights: Develop models using appropriate statistical techniques and visualization, bringing in latest industry techniques where relevant. Serve as an expert in quantitative business analysis, data mining, and data presentation. Stakeholder managementand influence: Communicate meaningful observations and recommendations from analysis undertaken to a variety of stakeholders. Influence effectively across the company to ensure key recommendations are adopted. Other tasks and responsibilities as required.
