Tax Consultant | Galway | €60 - €70k

Due to continuous growth, our client is seeking to recruit a Tax Consultant to join their expanding tax team, offering excellent opportunities for career progression. This role combines compliance and advisory work, providing a rich and varied experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing a portfolio of corporate tax, income tax, and VAT compliance clients.
2. Engaging with clients, professional advisers, and relevant third parties.
3. Assisting with consultancy projects, including the preparation of tax reports on a diverse range of issues such as group restructuring, succession planning, personal taxes, and VAT.
4. Contributing to business development and growth initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1. A qualified tax professional with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience.
2. Strong technical knowledge across multiple tax disciplines.
3. Proven track record in managing and mentoring a team of professionals.
4. Expertise in managing compliance portfolios and delivering tax consulting services.
5. Exceptional project management skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
7. Strong delegation, management, and review skills, especially with trainees and newly qualified staff.
