We are seeking a proactive and skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to shape and deliver our digital strategy. This role will focus on growing awareness, engagement, and revenue through digital channels, including content development, social media, advertising, and email campaigns.

Working cross-functionally with teams in communications, fundraising, and services, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful campaigns, improving content quality and user journeys, and increasing overall digital performance.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Performance
- Develop and implement digital strategies to support awareness, engagement, and income goals.
- Define clear KPIs and report on digital channel performance, providing actionable insights.
- Monitor trends and opportunities in digital and apply them to ongoing improvement.
Social Media & Advertising
- Plan, manage, and optimise paid social campaigns (e.g. Meta, LinkedIn).
- Test targeting, creative formats, and messaging to improve outcomes.
- Support the wider social media approach with insight and content best practices.
Content & Visuals
- Work with internal teams to drive content quality across web, social, and email.
- Collaborate on visual content creation using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ensure all content is engaging, user-focused, and aligned with brand voice.
Email Marketing
- Plan and execute targeted email campaigns using segmentation and automation tools.
- Monitor engagement and refine strategy based on results.
Website & E-commerce
- Manage content and user experience across the website and online shop.
- Use analytics to improve conversion rates and support income-generation activities.
- Implement practical SEO strategies for increased visibility.
Reporting & Analysis
- Use tools like Google Analytics to track performance and inform decision-making.
- Communicate insights and learnings to help foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Person Specification
Essential
- Proven experience in a digital marketing role (agency or in-house).
- Strong understanding of digital strategy and campaign execution.
- Hands-on experience with social media ads management and targeting.
- Proficient in using analytics and reporting tools (e.g. GA4).
- Experience in website and content management (no coding required).
- Working knowledge of SEO principles and e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
- Collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous learning.
Desirable
- Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation.
- Visual content creation using design tools.
- Exposure to agency or vendor management.
- Curiosity about digital innovation and AI tools in marketing.
Qualifications
- Degree in marketing, digital media, communications, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications in relevant platforms (Google, HubSpot, CIM, etc.) are a plus.
