Sprout Social is looking to hire a Solutions Engineer for the EMEA Engineering team.

What you’ll do

- Be the technical counterpart to our Account Executive team working collaboratively with your peers in a customer-facing environment.
- Serve as a product expert within SaaS-based applications or social media management.
- Break down complex topics and make them easily digestible to your audience.
- Have a natural technical curiosity and understand complex changes and discussions around network APIs.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for a collaborative Solutions Engineer to support our sales team. The ideal candidate is sales and marketing savvy, has a confident presence, and loves working with prospects and customers in a fast-paced environment.

The minimum qualifications include:

- 2+ years of Martech/SaaS experience in a Solutions Engineer or similar role partnering with Account Executives.
- Experience demonstrating a software platform (making presentations).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences.
- Experience collaborating with internal & external stakeholders and contributing to a proactive presales community.

Preferred qualifications include:

- Understanding of social networks (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and social media strategies for large organizations.
- Experience presenting to Marketing and Social Media Professionals including Directors/VPs of Marketing and CMOs.
- Flexibility to work on multiple projects and support the Sales team simultaneously.
- Understanding of all components of a software sales process.
- Additional language skills in German, French, or Spanish are highly desirable.

How you’ll grow

Within 1 month, you’ll establish your foundation by completing onboarding, shadowing solutions engineers, and learning our platform and messaging. By 3 months, you’ll begin conducting demos independently. At 6 months, you’ll confidently demo our platform, understand various social media use cases, and position our solutions against competitors. By 12 months, you’ll own the role, contribute to team training, and be highly regarded by peers.
