We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef for Arthur Cox in Arthur Cox
Location: Arthur Cox, Dublin City
Rate of pay: €19.00 per hour
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, daytime hours
Required Skills:

- Minimise wastage and encourage creative thinking
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef
- Adhere to all company and government food safety legislation
- Ensure good kitchen planning to enable a trouble-free service and customer satisfaction
- Help to promote and maintain a good working environment, leading by example and develop the team around you
- Hands on, passionate, Energetic Self-motivated individual
- Proven track record in delivering high quality dishes in a time pressured environment
- Passionate about food, standards & results
- Creative and up to date with new food trends and concepts

Key Responsibilities

- Taking full control of the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence
- Overall daily responsibility for the daily kitchen operations, including training of more junior members
- Ensure that the kitchen complies with all health and safety, food safety and hygiene standards
- Responsible for ensuring all kitchen equipment is maintained and used in a safe and correct manner
- Deliver a consistent level of service in a clean and professional environment
