Overview
As Financial Controller at  The Address Connolly  you will join an energetic, experienced, and strategically focused management team. The purpose of your role is to lead, support, and guide the financial processes of the business, ensuring robust recording, reporting, and analysis, while enabling our teams to deliver the exceptional guest journey upon which The Address Collective prides itself.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Finance Office, including financial analysis and reporting, audit and control programmes, and asset and liability reconciliations.

Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts
Reconcile the balance sheet with appropriate supporting documentation
Ensure integrity and accuracy of the P&L and all revenue streams
Monitor and control POS systems and related reporting
Oversee payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
Manage hotel and company cashflow requirements
Support the Director of Finance with annual budgeting processes
Lead and mentor accounting staff, ensuring continuous skills development
Oversee purchasing and stock control systems
Ensure compliance with all tax matters, including timely payments
Uphold company compliance with legal, financial, and audit requirements
Safeguard assets through robust control and risk management practices
Advise the Director of Finance on operational and financial matters
Manage cash handling, floats, and debtor/creditor accounts in line with policy
Build and maintain professional supplier relationships through timely and accurate payments
Develop financial awareness across the management team
Support annual external audits with thorough preparation
Undertake ad hoc projects and tasks as required
Skills & Knowledge
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with IT systems and financial/hotel software applications
Strong decision-making, conflict management, and change management skills
Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders
Knowledge of hotel operations and their impact on finance
Strong presentation and influencing skills
Basic legal knowledge relating to hotel financial operations
Education, Certification & Experience
ACA membership (Association of Chartered Accountants)
ACCA or CIMA qualification
Previous experience in an accounts management role
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of five (5) years’ accounting experience
Experience in hotel accounting
Previous experience as a Financial Controller in a hotel
