Operations IT Systems Manager Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role is responsible for the maintenance, performance, and development of order-to-dispatch systems and ICT hardware to ensure seamless business continuity. The position will also support production trials for product and business development initiatives. Key Responsibilities Product / Stock Management Systems Monitor and maintain stock management systems to minimize downtime, improve supply chain efficiency, and support overall business performance. Act as the main point of contact with external system providers to ensure issues are resolved promptly. Consult with stakeholders to ensure systems meet evolving business needs. Design and implement user-friendly interfaces and system functionalities. Manage and coordinate system upgrades, adjustments, and diagnostic testing. Provide training and ongoing support for system users. Develop technical documentation and user training materials. ICT Act as the primary liaison with third-party IT service providers, ensuring effective communication and service delivery. Maintain on-site hardware including desktops, laptops, phones, and related equipment. Troubleshoot ICT issues and optimize system performance. Manage ICT inventory, assess business needs, and procure hardware and accessories cost-effectively. Develop and maintain ICT processes and governance procedures. Coordinate ICT support, training, and onboarding for new users. Keep up to date with emerging ICT developments, equipment, and solutions. Plan, manage, and deliver ICT-related improvement projects and technology implementations. Key Requirements Proven experience managing IT systems within a manufacturing, logistics, or operational environment. Strong ability to manage third-party service providers effectively. Solid technical knowledge across both systems and ICT hardware. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Passion for continuous improvement and technology adoption.
