Job Type Flex-Time Category Urgent Care Location Cork, Cork, Cork City, County Cork, Ireland Job Details Role Title: Urgent Care Physician - Locum Role Location: Cork Would you like to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a vibrant and team-focused environment? We have a number of Urgent Care Physician - Locum positions for our bank pool for our our Cork clinic. What's on offer: Competitive hourly rates Weekend premium rate Role Purpose Provide care to patients presenting with a range of urgent care presentations Treat patients who attend the clinic for consultation, aged from 12 months Minor injuries; including: sprains, fractures and wounds Minor illnesses Initial interpretation of x-rays and ECGs Facilitating referrals to ED/ specialists where indicated Education & Experience Registered with the Irish Medical Council. Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in clinical practice, including significant experience in general practice and a minimum of 2 years recent urgent care/ emergency medicine experience. Training in emergency medicine, general practice or other postgraduate qualification would be highly beneficial. 6 months experience with paediatric patients is desirable. Flexibility across a 7-day roster.
