As our business grows, were looking for a Workshop Controller to join our close-knit aftersales team. Role Overview As a Workshop Controller, you will lead a team of skilled technicians, ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency across all vehicle servicing and repair tasks. Youll play a key role in maintaining workshop productivity, mentoring junior staff, and upholding our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Ideally, you will be a fully qualified motor technician / master tech with previous experience in managing in a busy workshop environment. If youre a great communicator, enjoy working with people, and like being part of a team where everyone enjoys coming to work, this role is for you. Role Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day activity in the workshop Allocate jobs and manage workflow efficiently with the Service Advisor Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and servicing as needed Manage all warranty claims in an timely, efficient and compliant manner Ensure all work meets health, safety, and quality standards Support and mentor technicians and apprentices Communicate effectively with service advisor and management Achieve budget goals in relation to labour Sales and Productivity Maintain service records and ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership standards Any other tasks that may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis Key Requirements Fully qualified Vehicle Technician Previous experience in a busy workshop environment Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills across a wide range of vehicles Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills Full Irish/EU driving licence Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environment A team player with a can-do attitude A genuine passion for delivering top-level customer service What We Offer A friendly and inclusive team environment Competitive salary (based on experience) Ongoing manufacturer and in-house training A workplace where youre appreciated, supported and encouraged to grow
