**Job Title: Structural Steel Fitter**

We are seeking a skilled structural steel fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the fitting, assembling, and installation of structural steel components.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings and site specifications, accurately measuring, marking, cutting, drilling, and fitting structural steel components, and assembling steel structures in the workshop and on-site as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Accurately measure and mark structural steel components
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machinery to complete work to high standards
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations at all times
  • Collaborate with welders, crane operators, and site managers during the assembly process

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience as a structural steel fitter or similar role
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Proficient in the use of fabrication and fitting tools
  • Strong knowledge of steel types, tolerances, and site safety standards
