About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Fitter to work in Westmeath. The job involves fitting, assembling, and installing structural steel components according to engineering drawings and site specifications.

  • Fitting and assembling of steel structures in workshops and on-site as required.
  • Accurate measurement, marking, cutting, drilling, and fitting of structural steel components.
  • Collaboration with welders, crane operators, and site managers during the assembly process.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a structural steel fitter or similar role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency in fabrication and fitting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of steel types, tolerances, and site safety standards.
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificate.
