Job Title: Structural Steel Fitter

We are seeking an experienced structural steel fitter to fill a key role in our team. As a structural steel fitter, you will be responsible for the installation of structural steel components in accordance with engineering drawings and site specifications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and steel fabrication plans.
  • Accurately measure, mark, cut, drill, and fit structural steel components.
  • Assemble steel structures in the workshop and on-site as required.
  • Assist with the erection and installation of steel frameworks on construction sites.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machinery to complete work to high standards.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a structural steel fitter or similar role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficient in the use of fabrication and fitting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of steel types, tolerances, and site safety standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificate.
