A long-established commercial vehicle service centre in Finglas is looking to add an experienced and motivatedMechanicto its expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven hands-on expertise in servicing and repairing a wide range of commercial vehicles. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance at all service levels. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on both light and heavy commercial vehicles, as well as associated machinery. Ensure all work meets high-quality standards, technical requirements, and documentation guidelines. Accurately record completed tasks and provide daily progress updates. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace. Work across multiple commercial vehicle brands, including Scania, Volvo, Mercedes, MAN, and DAF. Support wider workshop operations and assist with additional duties as required. The Ideal Candidate At least 2 years of mechanical experience (commercial vehicle background preferred). Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues and customers. Well-organized and efficient in managing workload and priorities. Friendly, approachable, and professional in manner. Dependable, detail-focused, and adaptable, with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
