Overview Title: Laboratory Technician - Milk Hut
Business Unit: Food Ingredients
Function: Perform testing in Intake and product laboratories
Reporting To: Senior Lab Technician
Location: Station Road, Tipperary
Purpose: Testing of raw material and in-process liquid to ensure Food Safety and Quality.
Responsibilities Performing timely analytical testing in Intake Laboratory.
Support for other laboratories if required.
Ensuring that all documentation is completed correctly with the approved procedures.
Identifying and highlighting any issues to the appropriate supervisor/manager. Following through with issues to achieve a resolution.
Comply with health and safety requirements.
Qualifications Minimum Diploma in Science or equivalent discipline is an advantage.
Experience in a laboratory is an advantage.
Key Competencies Proven ability in communication
A high level of flexibility, motivation, and the ability to work on their own initiative.
Team-worker with strong interpersonal, communication skills and continuous improvement mind-set
Computer literacy is essential.
A high level of English verbal and written fluency is required.
